October 1, 2008 -- Hospitality Design, one of the hospitality industry’s preeminent magazines, recently hailed HYSO for “tackling the unglamorous aspect of hospitality design” in the magazine’s “Germ Busters” article. The article also featured an interview with HYSO’s founder, Simon Sassoon. Below is an excerpt from the interview:
“’Everything is automated now: flushers, soaps, dryers. It’s great, but what do you do to get out of the bathroom?’ Sassoon laments. After focused monitored beta testing and an affiliation with top-end distributors, HYSO…currently has representation in 42 states. ‘There are other forms of circumvention, but who wants to use a cashmere sweater to open a door?’ he asks. ‘For restaurants and hotels it is crucial. It sends a very positive message to clientele: we’re going one extra step that other places aren’t.’”
